Hello, you sweet milk chocolates. It's been a long, grueling week on the Beta front. Sunday night the dog started having great difficulty breathing. We stayed up with him all night (from which I still haven't recovered) and took him to the vet Monday morning. They kept him all day for x-rays and tests and concluded it's non-cancer-related, but instead a lung infection. Poor thing. He's been on meds and morphine, which have reduced the attacks from constant to a couple times an hour. More sleeplessness ensues.

Also, my boss has been very difficult this week. For obvious paranoid reasons I cannot properly vent here, but I believe it's still within my legal bounds to say it's been a very frustrating, bitch-slap kinda week.

Yes, even I get bitch-slapped from time to time.

Last night we went out to a completely awful and boring dinner for a "friend's" birthday. Between work and orchestra and the dog and band and practicing and freelance, spending a wasted evening gets me strung the fuck out.
