Hello, rootin' tootin's. It's been a terrifically busy weekend, which is totally awesome cause it allows me to pretend that I'm not sick, that my nose isn't running like a drippy viscous faucet and that every inhale doesn't make me want to either sneeze, bunch my face up in a sneeze suffocation or practice lamaze breathing while trying to get the damn tickle to manifest as a sneeze.

So yes, there are were various activities that allowed me to take my germs on the road, and many people will be thanking me next week for my generosity. Mhaw ha hahaha.

Friday after work the lady friend and I went to a gallery opening and then to the Entertainment Drinking Vortex aka the bar. Hung out with friends and talked about something I'm sure, but darn if I could tell you. Just DARN, I say. Sneeze!

Saturday we went cross the ole Golden Gate Bridge* to some friends' motorboat for an afternoon of champagne and river trolling in celebration of the lady's graduation. It was very cool. Sneeze!

Then last night, Hecka Bad Azz and I booked it to Oakland for an insane fashion show. About twenty fashion designers dressed waify ladies in themed and skimpy gear. They put it all to pumpin' tunes, and transformed the runway into a stage/dance party/orgy/tae kwon do studio. I really don't know how to begin describing it other than mesmerizing, beautiful sensory overload. It was awesome! Sneeze!

I cancelled band practice so I could recoup by doing fun things today like cleaning the bathroom, changing the sheets, doing the dishes, watering the plants, paying my bills and sneezing. A fabulous weekend was had by all.

* Hello, did anyone watch that terrible, awful, horrible, etc 2 part mini-series 10.5? Even though I wanted everyone on the show to die a painful, bloody death, I still was totally traumatized by watching all our cities get swallowed up and LA turn into an island. For fun, when I'm sitting on traffic on the bridges now, I like to envision how long it would take for them to crack in half, spill all our cars into the Bay, and come crashing down on top of us. Good times!
