Today is Stan Getz's birthday. I'm listening to Bossa Nova Breakfast on Live365. I'm totally a Getz ho, and it ain't just because of that Ipanema broad either. Where would Astrid be without getzin some Getz? Ah yes, the day is wide open for bad Getz jokes.

There's something else I need to get off my chest. I've been wearing my cute little jeans with the snap so much that when I wear other pants I come dangerously close to ripping the button off in mindless unhooking every time I disrobe. What I'm saying, people, is that I've actually conditioned myself to wear the same pants every day. It's because of feats like this that I am truly in awe of myself, my untold accomplishments and the innumerable boundaries I cross. Every day is so very bold and new.
